A theory-driven research hub exploring the foundations of physics.
Start with the simplest possible structure that contains physics. One field, one topology — everything else should emerge.
Don't postulate particles and forces — derive them from geometry. The laws of physics should be theorems, not assumptions.
A theory that can't be wrong isn't science. UIX makes specific numerical predictions that experiments can test.
State clearly what is proved, what is conjectured, and what is open. Acknowledge tensions and gaps honestly.
"Physics should not require 20 free parameters. If our universe is comprehensible, the laws must emerge from a simpler substrate."
— Ning Jiang
The UIX Laboratory develops a first-principles framework in which information, phase, and topology replace the traditional list of fundamental ingredients. Our work ranges from the microscopic origin of fermions and the Standard Model to emergent spacetime, black holes, and applications in AI and complex systems.
UIX Laboratory welcomes collaboration with researchers across disciplines:
QFT, gravity, topology, mathematical physics
Neutrino experiments, cosmology surveys, precision tests
Differential geometry, algebraic topology, category theory
